Managing Members

PAIStrike uses role-based access control (RBAC) to manage what each team member can see and do within an organization.

Member Roles

RoleDescription
OwnerFull control over the organization. Can manage billing, delete the org, and manage all members. There can only be one Owner.
AdminCan manage members (invite, remove, change roles), manage projects and assets, and run jobs. Cannot manage billing.
MaintainerCan create and manage projects, add assets, run jobs, and generate reports. Cannot manage members.
MemberCan view projects, assets, and reports they have access to. Can run jobs on assigned projects. Cannot manage the organization.

Note: The Owner role cannot be transferred via the UI. Contact PAIStrike support if you need to transfer ownership.

Inviting Members

To invite someone to your organization:

  1. Go to Organization → Members in the sidebar.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter the invitee's email address.
  4. Select a role for the new member.
  5. Click Send Invitation.

The invitee will receive an email with an invite link. The link is valid for 7 days.

Alternatively, you can generate a shareable invite link:

  1. In the Members page, click Copy Invite Link.
  2. Share the link directly (Slack, email, etc.).
  3. Anyone with the link can join the organization with the pre-assigned role.

Tip: Regenerate the invite link if you want to invalidate a previously shared one.

Accepting an Invitation

When you receive an invite:

  1. Click the invite link in the email or browser.
  2. If you are not signed in, you will be prompted to log in or create an account.
  3. Review the organization name and your assigned role.
  4. Click Accept to join, or Decline to reject the invitation.

Managing Existing Members

Changing a Member's Role

  1. Go to Organization → Members.
  2. Find the member and click the role badge or the Edit icon.
  3. Select the new role from the dropdown.
  4. Click Save.

Only Admins and the Owner can change roles. You cannot promote someone to Owner via the UI.

Disabling and Re-enabling Members

Disabling a member prevents them from logging in or accessing the organization without permanently removing their history or data.

To disable a member:

  1. Find the member in the Members list.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to their name.
  3. Select Disable Member.
  4. Confirm the action.

The member's status will show as Disabled. To re-enable them, repeat the steps and select Enable Member.

Removing a Member

To permanently remove a member from the organization:

  1. Open the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the member's name.
  2. Select Remove from Organization.
  3. Confirm the removal.

Warning: Removing a member is immediate. The user will lose access to all organization resources. This action cannot be undone from the UI.

Viewing Pending Invitations

To see outstanding invitations that have not yet been accepted:

  1. Go to Organization → Members.
  2. Click the Pending Invitations tab.
  3. You can resend or cancel any pending invitation from this view.
