Profile Settings

Your Profile Settings allow you to manage your personal account information, preferences, and security settings. These settings are specific to your user account and apply across all organizations you belong to.

Accessing Profile Settings

  1. Click your avatar or name in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.
  2. Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.

Updating Your Profile

Display Name

Your display name is shown to other organization members and appears on reports you generate.

  1. In the Profile section, click the Name field.
  2. Update your name.
  3. Click Save Changes.

Avatar

Upload a profile picture to personalize your account.

  1. Click the avatar image at the top of the Profile page.
  2. Select an image from your computer (PNG or JPG, max 2 MB).
  3. The image is updated immediately.

Changing Your Email Address

  1. In the Account section, click Change Email.
  2. Enter your new email address.
  3. Click Send Verification Email.
  4. Check your new email inbox for a verification link.
  5. Click the link to confirm the change.

Your email address is your login credential. Until you verify the new email, your old address remains active.

Changing Your Password

  1. In the Security section, click Change Password.
  2. Enter your current password to verify your identity.
  3. Enter and confirm your new password.
  4. Click Update Password.

Password requirements:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

If you signed up via OAuth (GitHub/Google), you may not have a password. You can set one by clicking Set Password in the Security section.

Language Preference

Change the display language for the PAIStrike interface.

  1. In the Preferences section, find the Language dropdown.
  2. Select your preferred language.
  3. Click Save Preferences.

Supported interface languages:

  • English (default)
  • Chinese (Simplified)

This setting changes the PAIStrike interface language. It does not affect the language of generated reports — that is set separately when generating a report.

Connected Accounts

If you linked an OAuth provider (GitHub or Google) during sign-up, it will appear in the Connected Accounts section. You can:

  • Link an additional provider to your account
  • Unlink an existing provider (only if you have a password or another provider linked)

Deleting Your Account

Warning: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your personal data, including API tokens, will be deleted. You will also be removed from all organizations you belong to.

To delete your account:

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile Settings page.
  2. Click Delete Account in the Danger Zone.
  3. Enter your password (or confirm via OAuth) to authorize the action.
  4. Click Confirm Delete.

If you are the sole Owner of a team organization, you must either transfer ownership or delete the organization before you can delete your account.
